In accordance with the federal law, No Child Left Behind, a district is required to provide Supplemental Educational Services (SES) to eligible students attending schools in year 2 to year 5 of Program Improvement (PI). The State of California approves the providers the District may contract with for Supplemental Educational Services. Eligible students are all low-income students who attend Title I PI years 2 through 5 schools.
For the 2012-13 school year, the following schools are in year 2 through year 5 of Program Improvement:
- Antioch High School (year 5)
- Antioch Middle School (year 5)
- Park Middle School (year 5)
- Belshaw Elementary School (year 3)
- Carmen Dragon Elementary School (year 3)
- Fremont Elementary School (year 5)
- Kimball Elementary School (year 4)
- Marsh Elementary School (year 5)
- Mission Elementary School (year 3)
- Turner Elementary School (year 5)
Below is a Parent Information Guide which shows the providers currently offered through the District. To apply for services, please fill out and forward an application to your school site or directly to the District office (510 G Street, Antioch, CA 94509). The SES provider will contact families directly to schedule services.
