Classified Seniority Lists

Please click on the document name below to view the Classified Seniority List in PDF format.

These documents were last revised February 17, 2012 and will be updated approximately every three months.  The classified seniority list is a working document and every attempt has been made to reflect seniority data as accurately as possible.  If you believe there is an error or inaccuracy please bring it to our attention by emailing Pam Gebrosky in the Personnel Commission Classified Human Resources office.  These documents are being posted as a convenience for our employees.  We ask that you please do your best to avoid making copies of the Seniority List unless it is absolutely necessary.  Even then, consider printing only the pertinent page(s).

For more information on seniority, refer to Article 30 in your CSEA/AUSD Contract  .

About The Merit System

Very simply, the merit system is a method of personnel management which is designed to promote the efficiency and economy of the workforce and the good of the public by providing for the selection and retention of employees, promotional opportunities, in-service training, and other related matters, on the basis of merit, fitness and the principle of "like pay for like work."

♦ There are nearly 100 merit system school districts in California.

♦ Merit system school districts employ almost 70 percent of the total classified school employees in California.
