Information Technology Service Portal

Information Technology Service Portal

This service is not available unless you are logged on to the District's network.

We are happy to introduce you to the new AUSD Information Technology Portal.  This is part of our KACE systems management solution.  All employees will be able to log in at the Information Technology Service Portal.  Links will be posted on our web pages next week. When loggingon, use the same information that is used when logging on to your District computer. We have had a few groups piloting the system and have great feedback about its ease of use.

Your portal will include pertinent information about the computer you usually log on to. It will also be the location of the IT Knowledge Base, where users will find frequently asked questions (FAQ) and links to “How To” articles.  We hope to develop it into a most useful tool where people can find ways to help themselves rather than having to wait on a response to a ticket request.

Finally, the portal also houses the IT Service Desk, which is the replacement to the TrackIt work order system.  All users will be able to enter service requests and see the progress and the history for all of their tickets.

Creating a request is easy. Click on the “New Ticket” button and fill in the fields with the appropriate detailed information.  Our computer naming convention is changing from the AUSD barcode number to the machine serial number/Dell Service Tag. On newer computers you can find this name by clicking on the blue scroll icon on your desktop named “Get Dell Service Tag”. On older computers, right click on My Computer. Left click on “Properties”. Select the “Computer Name” tab.

This AUSD IT Technology Service Portal will be your “one stop shopping spot” for technology related items.
