This information is provided so that families and community members are aware of possible traffic delays or detours while using Highway 4 and nearby roads.

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Contra Costa Transportation Authority (CCTA) , is widening State Route 4 (SR 4), its interchanges, and affected local roadways from approximately 0.8 mile west of Loveridge Road to approximately 0.7 mile east of Hillcrest Avenue.
