Biography
My husband and I have 6 children attending Antioch public schools and local California colleges. We have lived in Antioch for 25 years. I am committed to improving and sustaining student achievement with measurable goals. I will work to make certain that we have schools where our students are safe. My votes on the school board will ensure our budgeted money is used in a way that benefits students as a first priority and invests in their future. The quality of education in our schools and assuring that our students succeed must be a priority. I believe that allowing the students to choose their educational path will prepare them to flourish academically. I will help establish more specialty schools to give the students more options in directing their future. I strive to make my presence known at school campuses throughout the community. I volunteer in classrooms regularly, teach Junior Achievement, and read in classes. I care about our students and their families. I am on campuses every day. I interact with as many students/parents as possible.
Together we will make a difference.
